Commitees

The Next In Line board members want you to get involved. Whether it’s helping to coordinate an event or research new sponsors, you can help them lead and inspire young professionals by joining a committee. Assist them in accomplishing the goals of his or her corresponding position. Each committee will have up to five members, not including the board member. These will be the following committees:

• Development Committee: (lladabie@nextinline.biz & rgrodin@nextinine.biz)
  • Committee members would be involved in maintaining relationships for both Next In Line’s members and sponsors.  Members would help solicit new sponsors and keeping in touch with our current sponsors, managing and meeting their expectations.  We are responsible for preserving the attitude, look, and feel of Next in line for tomorrow’s members and affiliates.

• Public Relations Committee: (amartinez@nextinline.biz)
  • Committee members will need good writing skills and the ability to turn around copy quickly. The will work hand in hand with the Public Relations board member who is responsible for drafting press releases and making contacts with the media.
• Events Committee: (lperretta@nextinline.biz)
  • Committee members need to have good communication skills and an outgoing personality.  These members will be assisting the Director of PR for Events, with the logistics of event planning. They will help look for venues, generate theme ideas for events, make phone calls to our vendors and possibly assist during the monthly event.
• Technology Committee: (gdalerta@nextinline.biz)
  • We need people with general web and design skills to produce evites, maintain / create website sub sections and help manage our MySpace presence.
• Advocacy Committee: (lgazitua@nextinline.biz)
  • The Committee will monitor state legislative activity to identify issues that affect the membership demographic and will provide members with information and guidance on issues at the state level.  The committee will voice the concerns of the membership at the State Government level. The members will advocate for the membership demographic.  The membership will be informed of the issues affecting their demographic and to a larger extent the community as a whole, through periodic communication with the membership such as electronic newsletters and website postings.

  • This committee will be putting together the signature event in October. The committee chair needs members who are willing to work out the logistics from the planning stage to the finishing touches.
